Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups fresh mango chunks (about 2 medium mangoes)
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 scoops vanilla ice cream
  • 1 tablespoon honey or sugar (optional)
  • 1 cup ice cubes
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • whipped cream optional, for topping

Instructions
 

  • Peel and cut the mangoes into chunks, removing all flesh from around the pit.
  • Add the mango chunks to your blender.
  • Add vanilla ice cream, milk, ice cubes, and vanilla extract to the blender.
  • Add honey or sugar if using (taste your mangoes first - you might not need added sweetener).
  • Blend on low speed first, then increase to high until smooth and creamy (about 30-45 seconds).
  • Pour into chilled glasses and top with whipped cream if desired.
  • Serve immediately with a straw and enjoy!

Notes

  • For best results, use ripe, sweet mangoes with yellow-orange flesh.
  • Pre-chill your glasses in the freezer for an extra refreshing drink.
  • For a thicker shake, use less milk or add more ice cream.
  • Store any leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.
