- 3 black tea bags
- 1 ripe mango (peeled and chopped)
- 2-3 tablespoons honey or sugar
- 4 cups water
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Ice cubes
- A few fresh mint leaves (optional)
Steep the tea: Boil water, add tea bags, let steep for six minutes for strong tea.
Sweeten the tea: Stir in honey or sugar until dissolved, then let tea cool slightly.
Puree the mango: Blend mango pieces until completely smooth.
Mix everything: Add cooled tea, mango puree, and lemon juice into a pitcher. Stir well.
Chill the tea: Put pitcher in the fridge and chill for at least 40 minutes until very cold.

Always use ripe, sweet mangos for the best, sweetest flavor in your iced tea recipe every time.
-
Try green tea instead of black tea if you enjoy lighter, softer flavors for summer sipping.
-
For extra flavor, blend in a bit of pineapple or peach with the mango before mixing with tea.
-
Don’t forget to chill your tea very well before pouring over ice, or it can taste watered down.
-
You can double or triple this recipe for big parties, just use a larger pitcher for mixing it all!
-
Leftover mango iced tea tastes great for up to two more days, stored covered in the fridge.
