- 10-12 fresh mint leaves plus extra sprigs for garnish
- 1 tablespoon simple syrup more or less to taste and as needed
- 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice from 1 lime
- 1 cup ice cubes
- 4 ounces cranberry juice 100% pure or cranberry blend
- 3 ounces club soda chilled
Muddle mint leaves: Put your mint and simple syrup in the glass. Press down gently with the muddler for 15 seconds to get those oils out.
Add lime juice: Squeeze that fresh lime right into the glass with your mint. Give it a quick stir so everything mixes up nice and even.
Fill with ice: Drop ice cubes in until your glass is almost full. This keeps your drink cold and makes it taste so much more refreshing.
Pour cranberry juice: Measure out your cranberry juice and pour it over the ice. It'll naturally mix with the mint and lime you already put in.
Top with club soda: Pour in that cold club soda until the glass is full. Those bubbles make the whole drink lighter and way more fun to drink.
Stir and garnish: Give it a gentle stir with your long spoon for 5 seconds. Add mint sprigs, lime slices, and cranberries to make it pretty.

Be super gentle when you muddle the mint. If you bruise it too much, it gets bitter and kind of ruins the whole taste.
-
Different cranberry juices have different sweetness levels. Taste yours first, then add more syrup if it's too sour for you—totally up to your preference.
-
Always use cold club soda straight from the fridge. Warm soda loses its fizz crazy fast and makes your drink taste flat and boring.
-
Feel free to experiment with other juices like pomegranate, raspberry, or cherry. They all work great and give you totally different colors and flavors.
-
Drink this right away after you make it. The bubbles start disappearing within minutes, and it just doesn't taste as good when it's flat.
