Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup blackberries
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 4 mint leaves
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 1 cup sparkling water
  • Ice cubes
  • 1 lime slice for garnish

Instructions

  • Put blackberries, lime juice, and honey in your glass. Mash them good with a muddler or spoon.
  • Clap mint leaves between your hands. This makes them more yummy! Add them to the glass.
  • Fill your glass half full with ice cubes. The cold makes everything taste better!
  • Pour sparkling water over everything. Go slow so it doesn't fizz too much!
  • Put a lime slice on the edge of your glass. Now it looks so pretty!
  • Stir a tiny bit with a spoon. Then sip and enjoy!

Notes

  • The drink tastes best when you use fresh berries from the store or garden.
  • You can make the berry mix ahead of time, but wait to add fizzy water until ready to drink.
  • If you don't like seeds, pour through a strainer after step 1.
  • Use any sweetener you like if honey isn't your thing.
  • For parties, make a big batch in a pitcher!
